About Me
- Siany
- Well what can I say about me???? I left school with the qualifications for hairdressing (this was my dream job). I finally qualified however had to give it up shortly after for medical reasons. I then became a shop assistant and just plodded along. After I got married and had our 2 children I begun to help in their school. When it became that I was there more than at home, I asked if there were any vacancies. I was lucky I begun supporting a boy 1:1. As I became more engrossed in school life I wanted to learn more and more and more. I now have my own personal SEN experiences and also SEN qualifications that I use on a daily basis. My role is to support pupils with a wide range of literacy difficulties, numeracy difficulties, speech and language difficulties, listening/concentrating, Behaviour and SEBD. I love my job, however am beginning to become stressed out by the number of children that need support. xx

Yipeeeeeee
I can't believe that I have actually handed it my ICT aggignment , this module really felt like it was never going to end. We started it in November and handed it in last week (March) thats 4 months to complete 1 assignmnet, we usually have 4 modules to complete in a year so that means we have 4 to complete before the end of July. We are all going to be pulling our hair out, thats without the usually household, work, and family stuff to do.
Its lovely here at the moment so I think I'm going to go outside and read some books to start researching for our Numeracy module.
Ok bye for now I well be honest and say I probably won't be blogging as aften as I have but I will update it when new things have happened.

Assignment
Well first of all I hope everyone is having an amazing half term and have finished your ICT assignments. Have I ? have I hell, well I suppose that is a little fib, I have done quite a bit of Internet research (however not all assignment related) I have scanned/read the library's E-books and E-journals. I initially set myself a target of getting all my handwritten notes, references and lesson plan written up. Did I get it done? did I hell.
I forgot my husband was nights this week so keeping 1 teenager, an 11yr old hormonal daughter and a 4month old staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy quiet. I think the pup has been in training for the next Olympics shes been spinning, high jumping and hurdling over all my furniture. All of a sudden shes found her bark as well .
So keeping them quiet as well as the usual household cleaning stuff and baking (its a half term must have) pasties, chocolate cakes and scones, they were very yummy I must admit, only problem was as soon as they were coming out of the oven someone was eating them (Rhea the pasties Kyle the chocolate cakes the dog ate all the crumbs).
Anyway lets get back on task!!!!!

Making Memories
My husbands Nana passed away on New Years Eve, she was 95 years old.
She deterioated quickly over the Christmas period and passed away peacefully.
She deterioated quickly over the Christmas period and passed away peacefully.
I decided to get some of our favoutite photos together and combine them into a memory DVD . I initially used Movie Maker as I wanted to burn the finished movie onto DVD, so my Mother in law is able to play it on het DVD player. I also made one using Photostory to see how the programmes were similar. They both do roughly the same job allowing you to use different effects, and transition and also allows you to add music. Movie Maker was great because I was able to burn the DVD, however for some reason I have been unable to upload onto here. On the other hand, with Photostory your unable to burn to disk but it did allow me to upload.
I really enjoyed using both programmes and will use them again in the future.
